Who are we?
Bewdley Brewery was founded in 2008 by Dave, Chris and Tim. They began what is now seen as a staple in the Bewdley community. We brew all our own beer on site, where we also have the taproom for you to enjoy our beer in a space that reflects the history of Bewdley, and a shop where you can buy all of our bottled beer. We are proud to say that we are a family-run, quickly expanding brewery that is bringing back brewing to the heart of Worcestershire.
Everyday is a school day...
Before it was a brewery, the building itself was a school built in 1830 and was closed in the late 1960s. Many in the community either remember the school, studied
there, or had family who attended. Here’s a tip… if you look closely in the taproom, you may find old pictures from the school!
How far we've come...
We started small; from 2008 to 2014, we were a 5-barrel plant, then became a 10 barrel plant. 1 barrel is equivalent to 36 gallons! Now we have expanded across the whole site, buying it in 2018, and the taproom has been extended… Twice! We opened the shop in October 2025 and brewed nearly half a million pints in 2025! We have also won many awards since we started, when you visit be sure to check the awards wall!
Shop
Over the years, we have grown an incredible amount since we started, including building and completing the shop in October 2025. You are now able to buy all merch, gift packs, glasses and, most importantly, beer from the shop. Linked below is the shop location; we would love to see you!
